It just came to our attention that Max Goodman, 85, family law expert and a part of the Southwestern Law School faculty for more than 40 years, passed away on New Year's Eve. (We read about it on the National Law Journal's Los Angeles blog.) Goodman, pictured at right in a photo from the law school, joined the faculty in 1966, had in recent years been teaching as a professor emeritus in residence, and formally retired last fall.
You can read a detailed look back at Goodman's life on Southwestern Law's Web site.
