Less than a week after oral argument, the Ninth Circuit found that Hastings didn’t persecute a Christian student’s group when the law school refused to give the group travel money. Christian Legal Society's exclusion of gays and athiests violated the school’s non-discrimination policies, Folger Levin & Kahn partner Ethan Schulman argued. The court found for Hastings in a two-line unpublished memo.
