Photographer Christine Jegan and Legal Pad went by San Francisco's federal building Friday afternoon to witness a demonstration against Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. About 100 attorneys answered the call -- put out by the Bar Association of San Francisco, the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California and the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association -- to protest Musharraf's crackdown on Pakistan’s Supreme Court justices, his political opponents and journalists.
"Lawyers should be on the front lines," Nanci Clarence, BASF's president, told Legal Pad at the event.
