Sure, the Barry Bonds defense team is made up of some serious heavy hitters.
But does it have a Big Law hottie? At least for today it did.
At a motions hearing, the all-star (and ... ehh... veteran) defense team of of Allen Ruby, Cristina Argeudas, Theodore Cassman, Dennis Riordan and Donald Horgan were joined by two fresh faces from Ruby's new home, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
The Recorder decided to check them out (online, that is), and found one of them has made a shirtless appearance on the cover of InTouch Weekly. Patrick Hammon, a litigation associate in Skadden's Palo Alto office, was the rumored off-camera love interest of the 2010 "The Bachelorette" star, Ali Fedotowsky.
(As if the Bonds case — which is set for trial Monday — needs more profile?)
No word if Hammon, or fellow Skadden litigation associate Sean Coutain, who has been spotted at other Bonds hearings in recent months, are actually on the team or just tagged along with Ruby to absorb what they could from the legendary litigator. Ruby, who is strictly controlling publicity in the famous case, didn't respond to an inquiry about his new colleagues.
