Ulmer Holding 8-Point Lead Over Nava in S.F. Bench Race

It seemed like every slate card stuck in my mailbox the last few weeks urged a vote for Michael Nava in his challenge to S.F. Judge Richard Ulmer. Nava has the endorsement of the Democrats. And he outpolled Ulmer in the three-way primary in June. Yet somehow Ulmer is up 8 points right now with more than two-thirds of the votes counted.
