In a new ad that hit radio airwaves today, according to SFGate's Politics blog, attorney general-hopeful Kamala Harris calls rival Steve Cooley out for gifts he accepted while serving as district attorney in Los Angeles.
"The holidays only come once a year, but for District Attorney Steve Cooley, the gifts never stop," saysthe ad.
The Politics blog notes that Cooley's camp has remained quiet on the issue, perhaps because he's considered to be the favorite in the AG race. Ironically, Cooley has recently been said to be investigating questionable gifts and "freebies" received by elected officials in his district.
