Deputy public defender Linda Colfax won just over 52 percent of the vote in the race for the open seat on the S.F. bench, meaning she won't face a runoff with the second-place finisher, prosecutor Harry Dorfman. Dorfman had about 30 percent with almost all precincts counted.
