Troubled Palm Finds Buyer, New Lawyers

Hewlett-Packard announced today that it is acquiring troubled smartphone-maker Palm for $1.2 billion cash. Palm is indeed, as The Recorder reported earlier this month, electing to go with Davis Polk in the deal, instead of its "traditional deal counsel" Wilson Sonsini, according to The Am Law Daily.
