Update: Anthem Blue Cross Must Pay for Surgery and Legal Costs

Ephram Nehme, who sued when his out-of-state liver transplant surgery claim was denied by Anthem Blue Cross, has been awarded $206,000 and attorneys fees by an L.A. jury, according to the LAT.

Nehme paid for his surgery out-of-pocket after his claim was denied because doctors told him he would die on the long transplant list at his local L.A. hospital
