Since 2001, Marriage Equality's Freedom to Marry Day has encouraged same-sex couples across the country to visit their local county clerk's office and request a license.
This morning, same-sex couples sang "What the World Needs Now is Love" while waiting in line to request marriage licenses at the San Francisco City Clerk's office. Below, attorney Molly McKay and Davina Kotulski, originally married in 2004, hold hands.
