Northern District Judge Charles Breyer had a little fun Friday morning at a hearing over the foreclosure of a yacht called Wet Dream.
Displeased that a bank sold the boat at an auction in December without the court’s approval, Breyer said that he was contemplating taking it back by force: “How many able-bodied seamen does it take? I may even mount a boarding to get it back.”
The boat was once owned by Danny Clark, a linebacker for the New York Giants.
Clark’s lawyer agreed with the judge that the $1 million-dollar yacht, which is moored in an Alameda marina, was a real prize.
“It’s a very nice boat, well beyond my budget,” said David Felsenthal of Novian & Novian in Los Angeles.

There goes Little Breyer again, always making himself the center of attention.
