Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has tapped Steven Bochner to be its new chief executive officer, after the Senate confirmed John Roos to be U.S. Ambassador to Japan on Friday.
A Wilson lifer and corporate and securities lawyer, Bochner has served in various leadership positions at the firm, including as a member of the board of directors, a member of the policy committee, and chairman of the compensation committee. He has also served as an advisor to the Securities & Exchange Commission and Nasdaq.
Bochner joined the firm in 1981 and became a partner in 1988. Here is his full firm biography.
