NPR's Nina Totenberg and other news outlets are reporting that Justice David Souter plans to retire shortly. Legal Times' Tony Mauro has some informed speculation on likely replacements if Souter is indeed to step down. Legal Pad and its sister publication Cal Law will bring you more on Friday.
